Google just launched ‘More new Features’ for its gCal web service. Having taken a look I don’t see anything ground breaking. They are simply giving us what we (web heads) all asked for and that is more flexibility in how we use gCal on our blogs and websites.
Currently I am planning a small event at Habano in London and I find having this feature would have been very valuable when initial promoting the event, but regardless of where I am today long term this is a valuable feature addition.
Also if you scroll down further on the Google Calendar About website you will find that Google has also integrated gCal into its desktop search product as a ‘widget’. Isn’t this the first Google widget? I think it is, and its good to see they are going down this path.
