My ranking goal is nigh

Recently due to Google’s periodic search revision I got my PageRank upgraded from 0/10 to 4/10.  Not bad for a small blog like mine, also I have been keeping an eye on my Technorati rank as my goal for the 31st of August is to get my ranking in the top 100,000.

Thankfully as of a few days ago I am ranked 105,xxx.  So my goal is ‘nigh’ (near) to being achieved but I have two more weeks to raise my blog that last 6,000 spots.  Basically, I need to get about 4-6 more blogs to link to me (not soliciting), and as it happens I have a few posts in the works that I think may be worth linking too, so wish me luck.
