Today Nick Wilson announced that Performancing has joined Michael Arrington in launching a jobs board ‘Performancing Exchange’. However they differ rather quickly from there, Michael went with the any job that involves software and/or the web in the job description is good enough for their board, and Nick launched an open and free (initially) job board that is targeted at a specific market, bloggers. I am so happy to see this development as I think it has been a under-serviced market.
Recently I went on a web search looking for a knowledgable wordpress developer and in the end had to beg Alex King to give me a name, thankfully he did. But my search did prove one thing, finding probloggers, blog developers, and other social media guys is really difficult especially if you do a search via geography. Hopefully Performancing will expand their service and put in a geographic component.
