Google Local has launched a fabulous new service that allows businesses to upload a photo of their storefront to Google Maps. This is excellent because often (as a consumer) I remember the location, but not the name (most people retain visual information more readily then verbal or written) and if I could see the store front I would say ‘that’s it’. The other day my partner and I had exactly this problem. Too bad.
As well it offers the opportunity to upload a custom coupon which is perfect for those astute businesses that track buyer behaviour and ad conversion. Google Local Business Centre check it out, I strongly recommend it.

Google Calendar (GCal) has also apparently done some tweaking, I don’t think its that major but they are happy with it and so will the countries who’s languages made their priority list because they just released in a few more languages (its looks like, confirm for yourself) and improved how their calendar search feature works.
Does anyone use the calendar search feature?
If so what works for you? There are so many dates that I find it can be trying to sort through.
Mobile stuff.
I until recently used a Windows Mobile 5.0 PDA/Phone and found getting myself sorted on RSS was a really pain in the you know where, too bad I didn’t know about these guys (Mobizines.com) then I would have definitely tried out there service. As anyone used them before? If so please comment as I would like to hear more about your experience with the service.
*They don’t have a blog so good luck trying to get a more indepth picture of their service, its all Marketing and PR stuff (the usual really).
