Apple announced they have finally secured the rights to the ‘Beatles’ music catalogue from Paul McCartney for $400 (£200) million.
This is huge sum of money but not doubt Apple with all its experience selling music online has a plan to make it worth the costs.
Ultimately this shouldn’t affect the cost of the music once it does hit iTunes - no date set yet - but the singers and families of the Beatles should be better off because of the deal.
