About WebJam
WebJam is a hosted webservice developed in London, UK originally by Co-Founders Yann Motte, Marcus Greenwood and Alberto Berriero. WebJam was released in March 2006 as a private beta, and has since grown to over 18,000 regular users (from Compete.com) with a growth of 8% over the last 30 days.
Yann Motte and Alberto Berriero before WebJam were originally senior members of Yahoo! Europe and Marcus Greenwood was a senior software developer from the finance sector of London.
Funded last year by from French early-stage VC I-Source Gestion for just over $2,000,000 they are now on the hunt for round two and from all appearances they are well positioned to get whatever reasonable price they will be asking of VCs since they are growing so rapidly (see graphs below for external evidence), their operations have always seemed well controlled so the risk of WebJam burning through VC cash without results are low if not unlikely and after speaking with Yann Motte again recently he definitely had concrete plans for WebJam’s future earnings potential.
