The demo is interesting because Raskin has clearly come up with some really innovative ideas that are distinctly different from Apple’s iPhone. This is the long run should lead to better overall innovation in the mobile browsing sphere which to date has only had Apple’s Safari and the small Norwegian company Opera doing anything remotely interesting.
If mobiles are to dominate the web with anything more significant than ring tones, email, and sports scores we need a better browsing experience, this is (broadly) accepted doctrine since the iPhone.
