Google announced they have included within their web-only word processor Docs the ability to view PDFs. This announcement is rather unexciting unless you consider this as a hint of things to come and that fully PDF support is likely in the pipeline and that is good news as PDF is probably right up there with M$ Word format.
There are still however two significant caveats to even this little bit of support and that is there is no mobile access to this feature and PDFs are still not searchable. 
Regardless for me until I have more of the main features and interactivity like offline apps (of which Buzzword has) I won’t migrate to anyone, Google or otherwise.
