Apple’s top competitors, Nokia and RIM are nearly ready to compete with the iPhone head-to-head.
Embarrassingly it has been over a year since the iPhone launched shaking up the industry and this is as far as Nokia has progressed their touch screen technology - Apple’s key differentiating technology. In a sense this is a compliment to Apple’s ingenuity as most competitors are lucky to achieve a lead that is measured in days or weeks not years.
The video below is a rather full pre-production demo of what Nokia and partners are likely to release into the market before the end of 2008. It really is about time one of the major players aligned to directly compete with the iPhone.
